ipdata.free answers with the location and network of any IP address — yours, or one you put in the path. 1,000 requests a day from each calling address, no key, no account, and commercial use is fine with attribution.

That has three consequences worth knowing before you build on it.
Every request comes from your server's address, so the whole quota is yours. Enough for a lookup a minute and a half, all day — a sign-up form, a log enricher, a cron job.
1,000 a day, totalEveryone behind the same public address shares one quota. A busy office, a campus or a mobile carrier's gateway can use it up between them.
1,000 a day, sharedCall it client-side and each visitor's device spends its own quota, not yours. Localising a page or pre-filling a country field costs you nothing at any traffic level.
1,000 a day, per visitoripdata.free is the same data behind the same fields, with no key in the way. The keyed plans add volume, and the datasets that need one.
You can use the free tier in a commercial product as long as you credit ipdata where the data appears. The credit is this, a link to ipdata.co with a few words saying what it does, and the HTML to paste is beside it:

Place it near the data or in your footer, and keep it readable. Paid plans need no attribution.
